The Simpson Strong-Tie Deck-Drive DSV Wood screw is a powerful fastening solution for preservative-treated decking applications. With its under-head nibs and fast-start tip, the DSV is ideally suited to be driven and countersunk into today's wood deck boards. The shank is designed to withstand the swelling and shrinkage common with fast-growth lumber. DSV screws are also offered in a variety of sizes to fasten fascia and trim.
- Low-torque threads allow up to 35% more screws to be driven per battery charge
- Rimmed flat head with nibs design countersinks quickly and provides a clean, finished appearance
- High-low threads with Type-17 points provide fast starts
- Optimized threads for dimensional lumber
- Quik Guard® coating provides corrosion resistance for exterior and certain preservative-treated wood applications
- Meets the performance requirements of ICC-ES AC257 exposure conditions 1 and 3
- T25 6-lobe drive (driver bit included)
- Flat Head: A flat head has a flat top with a countersunk bearing surface. It's available with 4 lugs to assist with countersinking, and useful for general purpose construction.
