The Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ 1/2" Driver Drill is built compact and lightweight to get into tight, hard to reach, work spaces easily.
Power
This driver drill's motor delivers 1,200 in. / lbs. of torque and 0-550 / 0-2,000 no load RPM, providing the power needed for fast drilling speeds under heavy loads.
The POWERSTATE™ brushless motor is compact and more efficient at converting energy into power and torque, making the drill last longer, and giving it the ability to be built smaller and lighter.
Driven by an M18 REDLITHIUM™ XC 5.0 extended capacity battery pack which provides 20% more drive and a full day charge compared to other lithium ion batteries.
REDLITHIUM™ batteries have a built-in power gauge to see how much charge is left. Are shock resistant, and are built with a water protection barrier. These batteries are made to withstand temperatures below -18°C / 0°F.
M18™ & M12™ Multi-Voltage Charger charges both 18 volt and 12 volt batteries simultaneously in 30 minutes for compact batteries, and one hour for extended capacity batteries.
Build
M18™ is a series of ergonomically built, 18 volt, compact power tools and batteries, made to deliver consistent results, be highly efficient in use of power, provide exceptional run-time and give the longest product life possible.
M18 FUEL™ utilizes REDLINK PLUS™ advanced overload and temperature protection hardware and software, which is an internal communication system that is built into tools that have a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM™ battery packs and their battery chargers.
By linking the REDLINK PLUS™ hardware and software, with the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and the REDLITHIUM™ battery packs, it allows the entire system to make automatic power adjustments, when needed, to prevent overloading, overheating and overcharging based on the tool being used and how.
Built lightweight at 4.9 lbs. and compact at 7-1/2” long, this drill is made for ultimate user comfort and control.
Has a 1/2" metal, single sleeve chuck with a ratcheting lock for easy bit changes.
LED light in the handle makes it easy to see where you're drilling in any lighting situation.
