Build
M18™ is a series of ergonomically built, 18 volt, compact power tools and batteries, made to deliver consistent results, be highly efficient in the use of power, provide exceptional run-time and give the longest product life possible.
M18 FUEL™ utilizes REDLINK PLUS™ advanced overload and temperature protection hardware and software, which is an internal communication system that is built into tools that have a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM™ battery packs and their battery chargers.
By linking the REDLINK PLUS™ hardware and software, with the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and the REDLITHIUM™ battery packs, it allows the entire system to make automatic power adjustments, when needed, to prevent overloading, overheating and overcharging based on the tool being used and how.
