Premier Series carbide burrs are made from the highest quality tungsten carbide and manufactured on state of the art CNC machines to give the highest consistency and quality of any burr on the market. Whether you are doing weld slag removal, chamfering, weld preparation or deburring, PTA burrs resist wear and are extremely durable. Double Cut (D/C) burrs are the industry standard for metal removal, allowing for smaller chip production, eliminating loading of the burr flutes and minimizing chatter. This is the smoothest and most popular cutting styles for most metals, especially steel, stainless steel, alloys and exotics.
