WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES - ZIP ONE™ Cut-off wheels are built extra thin to cut thin guage metal. Suitable for stainless steel, steel and galvanized steel applications.

ZIP ONE™

These cut-off wheels do not contain iron, sulphur or chlorine and therefor will not contaminate stainless steel. 1mm thick wheel is specifically made to cut thin guage metal fast, safely and with no vibration.

Build

Made extra thin to run cool, be extra fast and provide a clean burr-free finish.

Perfect for plunge cutting. Has a metal hub cladding around the center of the wheel to provide extra strenth and control.

Built to produce minimal discoloration, less warping, less paint lifting and straight, accurate cuts.

Type 27 wheel shape has a depressed center, making it possible to cut without any interference from the flange or mounting hardware and provides clearance for flush cutting.

For use with zip cutters and angle grinders

  • Cut-Off Wheel: A cut-off wheel is a self-sharpening, thin, wafer-like wheel that often contains radial fibers to help reinforce it and provide strength.
  • Bonded Abrasives: A bonded abrasive is an assembly of abrasive grains bonded within a matrix to create a solid-like form.
