Product Description

The 3M Scotch-Weld PUR Adhesive EZ 250150 is built to be warm when applied in order to strongly bond plastics and wood to themselves but also to metal and glass.


Build

This adhesive needs to be warmed before use and can be dispensed by hand or with a heated dispenser.

When applied correctly, this adhesive can provide up to 1675 lbs force per square inch.

Bonding wood or plastics is easy with this one component urethane based adhesive. It helps to replace the need for unsightly fasteners and doesn't require long clamping times making production faster and easier.

Safety

Wear heat resistant gloves and safety glasses when handling this product.

Do not use or heat this adhesive above 135°C.

How to Use

  • Warm in a suitable warming dispenser for a minimum of 45 minutes
  • Remove oil and grease from surfaces to be bonded by wiping with acetone or MEK
  • Allow surfaces to be completely dry before applying adhesive
  • Dispense within 16 hours of heating for best results
  • Note this product will cure faster on wood than plastic due to wood having a natural moisture content

Clean-Up and Storage

This adhesive has a 12-month shelf life when stored at 16°C to 27°C and is kept in a dry environment.

To clean up any uncured product, scrape with a putty knife. To clean cured product, remove by either cutting or sanding.
