The BOSCH Impact Driver (IDS181-01 & IDS181-02) has the most compact impactor design with a head length of 5.4", which allows the tool to be used in small, tight and hard to reach places with increased comfort.
Power
This impact driver has optimized impact performance, which provides the best runtime and control for small to medium duty fastening jobs, and the optimized torque limits stripping of screws and shearing off the head of a screw.
The 1/4" hex chuck comes with a quick change one handed bit holder.
Its variable speed trigger is ideal for complete application control.
The Bosch built hammer and anvil system is constructed to provide maximum impact endurance and increases tool’s performance in small to medium duty fastening applications.
The tool comes with Electronic Motor Protection (EMP), which protects its motor in stall situations.
Build
The tool also comes with Electronic Cell Protection (ECP), which increases battery lifetime by preventing damage caused by misuse.
There is a 3 LED light ring that provides shadow free illumination for the best visibility in low lighting applications.
The soft grip handle adds comfort and reduces fatigue, while the metal gearbox has a durable profile while protecting delicate surfaces.
Its durable belt clip allows you to quickly store the tool between applications.
