The DeWALT High-Performance Grinder (D28065) is equipped with Quick-Change™ wheel release, which allows tool-less wheel removal.
Handling
This saw is built with a 13.0 AMP/2.3HP (9,000 RPM) G55 (AC/DC) motor built for faster material removal and higher overload protection.
It's equipped with a Dust Ejection System™ that provides durability by ejecting damaging dust and debris particles that enter the tool through the air intake vents. There is a one-piece brush arm that prevents brush hang-up due to dust ingestion. There is also a dual abrasion protection that increases motor protection from damaging dust and debris ingestion.
The keyless adjustable guard provides tool-less guard adjustments, which increases productivity.
Build
There is a vibration-reducing side handle that is comfortable for extended use applications.
The low profile, jam-pot gear case provides precise gear alignment for a smoother, quieter transmission while allowing access to tight spaces.
The auto-off brushes shut the tool down when the brushes need replacing to avoid tool damage.
