Product Description

The 3M Surface Conditioning Belts are built for low-pressure use on wood or metal.


Build

These belts use an aluminum oxide and silicon carbide blend grain, which cuts fast and produces a fine finish.

Built with a scrim backing that is durable and flexible.

These belts are perfect for detail work such as blending, blending corners, cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, deburring edges, fine finishing, flat finishing, setting the grain, stainless steel finishing, and attaining straight line brushed finishes on a variety of metals.

Excellent for low-pressure applications on metal or wood.


Suitable for sanding metal and wood!


Storage

Store in a moisture controlled area that stays between 16°C and 27°C for longest product life.

  • Coated Abrasives: A coated abrasive is an assembly of abrasive grains fixed with an adhesive to a backing material such as resin, rubber, polyester, paper, or cloth.
  • Non-Woven Abrasives: Abrasives built with synthetic entangled fibers in different shapes and forms that are impregnated with abrasive grain.
