Product Description

*Starrett has discontinued service in Canada*

The Starrett Dual Pitch Professional Hole Saw is the COMPLETE multi-purpose saw. It will cut a wide range of materials, regardless of thickness.

Cutting

You will have aggressive material penetration and swarf clearance, which removes the need to carry a constant and variable pitch hole saw.

With the Starrett tooth geometry, you'll see huge improvements in chip flow.

You'll also have a smooth cut with minimal tendency to bite or snag when cutting thinner gauge materials.

With this saw, you can make economical cuts into wood, metal and steel.

Build

This hole saw has hardened, heat resistant, positive rake HSS teeth with alloy body and cap; they're strong and shatter resistant.

The Dual Pitch Professional Hole Saw is meant for hand held or fixed drills, with 41mm (1-5/8") cutting depth.

  • Hole Saw: A hole saw (or hole cutter) is built with an annular (ring) shape, which allows the blade to cut (or bore) out a hole in the workpiece. It's usually used along with an arbor bit and powered by an corded or cordless drill.
  • Bi-Metal Hole Saw: A bi-metal hole saw is built with two different types of steel joined together to form the edge of the cutting end of the hole saw. Bi-metal is the most common type of hole saw due to its ability to cut through wide variety of materials.
