Product Description

3M Roloc Discs 777F provide a fast, efficient method for grinding, light grinding, blending, leveling and finishing. This product features a grinding aid which enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys and allows for cooler running. Discs are made of a ceramic aluminum oxide blend and have a cloth backing for durability. Recommended in offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. They lock securely in place with just a half twist – another half twist and they’re off.

Sanding Discs Features:

  • A blend of ceramic and aluminum oxide mineral self-sharpens and offers improved durability and cut-rate over aluminum oxide
  • 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system enables efficient and secure attachment and removal of the disc
  • Polyester backing is extremely tough to support medium-pressure applications while maintaining consistent performance in both wet and dry applications
  • Grinding aid reduces grinding temperatures for processes involving heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium
  • Heat-resistant resin coating bonds abrasive to backing for durability under pressure, heat, and water
  • Coated Abrasives: A coated abrasive is an assembly of abrasive grains fixed with an adhesive to a backing material such as resin, rubber, polyester, paper, or cloth.
  • Fiber Discs: Abrasive discs that are heavy-duty and durable due to the vulcanized fiber backing that is coated with resins. These discs need to be used with a rubber backing for support.
