Build
Makita’s 7” cordless angle grinder is built with Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT™) that automatically adjusts the torque and speed of this tool based on the load condition so you get consistent results.
This grinder is made with Makita’s exclusive eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT™) that provides maximum internal mechanism protection from dust, debris, and liquids for optimal performance.
Uses 2 x 18 Volt batteries to make a combined 36 Volts worth of power and comes with a battery guard to protect the batteries in case the tool is dropped or banged.

Power
The brushless motor delivers a powerful no-load speed of 7,800 RPM and doesn’t require brush changing maintenance, resulting in less downtime and more productivity.
This grinder comes with a soft start feature that eliminates start-up shock and an electric brake that stops the tool immediately.
Safety
This grinder will automatically shut off if there is any kick-back using Makita’s Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT™).
The two-stage paddle switch prevents the switch from accidentally being pulled.
