Guide to the New ANSI Cut Levels
- In order to get the best glove for the cut hazards you'll be faced with, the new ANSI standards now include 9 cut levels compared to the previous 5.
- Each level now contains a smaller grams to cut range so that the ratings are more precise and consistent from one glove to the next.
Here are the new glove cut levels and the applications they are typically good for:
Light Cut Hazards

200 - 499 grams to cut
